Creating pixel-perfect looking galleries was never easier
To add a gallery within a post or page click the 'Add Media' button in the top left corner above the text editor, see screenshot. There you select all the images you want to showcase. You can create galleries with 1 – 10 columns. We recommend 1 – 5 columns for full width galleries and 1 – 3 columns, if you display a sidebar.
Image caption
Image caption text is hidden by default and becomes visible when you hover over an image with caption. You will notice a small icon in the top left corner of image that has a caption. Which is a really nice and decent method to tell your visitors that there is more to this image.
Full size lightbox effect
By clicking on a linked image a lightbox will open that displays the image in full size. There you can navigate through all images that belong to the same gallery. Try it with the following gallery:
